This is a schedule of the Bar Mitzvah weekend.
The festivities begin on Friday, November 9 with Shabbat Dinner at our house at around 4:30 pm and any and all are welcome to join us.
After dinner we will caravan to the Temple for services. Those who would like attend may join us. Services are from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
Saturday morning is service that Jacob will be called up to lead and read from the Torah for the first time as an adult. These services are from 10:30-12:30 PM.
After services we will stay at the Temple for the luncheon party.
After lunch we are free to do what we want. I do not have plans for Saturday night yet.
We are hoping to organize a brunch for Sunday. We have also been talking about going to Boston to do something like a scavenger hunt in the afternoon.
Veterans’ Day is Monday, November 12 if that helps anyone extend their stay.
